Detroit is massive – 138 square miles. It has enough space to hold the landmass of San Francisco, Boston, and Manhattan Island combined.

British photographer Giles Price chartered a helicopter to survey the city from the air, then devoted the rest of his time to meeting the people on the ground, who make the city what it is today.  Presenting his work as a fusion of aerial photography and portraits, Giles’ stunning feature attempts to put a face on the landscape of Detroit.
